I couldn't agree more with Cathy Horyn of the New York Times: Milan fashion week was a big disappointment. (Check her review here - not that I agree with everything she said though) The only collection that really stood out for me was Bottega Veneta. I loved the soft creamy colours, the simple ease of the styling, as well as the accessories.
It seemed to me that everyone else was just lazy- all those random unfinished, fringed edges at Prada, the overload of underwear at Fendi, the general stuffiness at Marni... I was left uninspired. I did like these pieces from the Dolce & Gabbana collection, although the rest of it was just "meh":
