There are times when I think that the fashion industry is peculiar and interesting, and then there are times when I just don't get it. This Chloe handbag is everywhere now, from Vogue and Harper's Bazaar to Marie Claire.
I haven't seen anything more disgusting come out of the fashion industry in a long time. There isn't a force on this planet that could persuade me to carry a head of a dead snake on my handbag.

I, too, saw that and found it appalling.
Uhm, not going to lie. I saw it and I actually felt nauseous. Same goes for fur. I guess it all falls under the "Well, if I have to pay so much for it, then it -must- be good!" mentality.
Horrible, horrible!
I couldn't agree more - I saw this in Marie Claire yesterday and had a very, very hard time figuring out who in their right mind would carry something like this. It's not even pretty.
Yup, my thoughts exactly. And not because it's a snake -- I really like snakes! -- but it's like a trophy head, only not even a trophy, just a status symbol. Ugh ugh ugh.
To be clear, I'm really, really put off by trophy heads too.
I haven't actually seen it before your post. I don't like the idea of wearing someone's head on me or my accesorise. just don't get it.what's next? Some animal ears?
For a long time, viewing the " Bg Snobs " was my daily routine. Believe me, there have always been horrible bag. Probably they ( BS ) have already viewed this bag too.
Someone might even buy it, but that someone is not me.
That is kinda weird... and the bag itself is not a pretty or stylish shape itself either. Have you seen any bags that you love this season? (not that I'm a seasonal or it-bag shopper myself, but just curious)
Repulsive. People can be so disgusting.
ewwwwwww!
gross
I'm glad I'm not the only one with serious hate for this bag!
Carolyn, I haven't seen a single bag I like in a long time. I read fashion magazines somewhat actively, but the accessories-front has been looking really poor for a while now: bags, shoes, even jewelry - I'm not seeing anything I like. The last handbag I bought was actually a men's messenger bag!
Sorry to say I can do you one worse on this, more or less: those disgusting Olson twins have started their own high fashion purse line, and one of the debut pieces is a genuine gator backpack which sells for FORTY thousand dollars. Real dead alligators, sigh. And again, it's not even an attractive design, I mean, no matter what you made it out of it would be homely, unoriginal and overpriced. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just crazy, yes.
